Blue sage
Blue Sage is a hardy shrub that occurs in the deserts of the southwest. It is named for its abundant blue flowers, but the leaves also have a bluish tinge. It has thin leaves and a scent that is both herbaceous and floral, similar to lavender.
A close relative of White Sage, Blue Sage is also good for healing and cleansing rituals.
The soothing, relaxing scent can be used to meditate, or simply burned for pleasure. It is not as sharp as White Sage, and is more pleasant for some people who find the strong, invigorating scent of White Sage overwhelming.
